Join us for an educational tour of Fenway Farms- a 5,000 square foot rooftop garden that produces 5,900 pounds of fresh organic produce annually. Discover efforts right in your backyard to increase the availability of local organic produce and what steps can be taken to apply this to your own practice. ---- Speaker bio: Chris Grallert, President, Green City Growers President With over thirty years of professional experience in organic and sustainable agriculture, Chris is committed to supporting agricultural models that foster responsible land and soil stewardship. Chris is also a contract auditor for farm sustainability and has degrees from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture (Fruit & Vegetable Production) and the University of Maine (Sustainable Agriculture).
