PART 1: The Impact of Nutrition & Lifestyle on Fertility Outcomes for Women Jessica Monroe, PhD, RD, LD Thursday, January 14th, 2021 6:30 - 8:30 pm (virtual 2.0 CEU event)



Infertility impacts around 25% of couples in the US. About 40% of infertility cases can be attributed to female factors including, but not limited to, problems or interruptions with ovulation. Nutrition and lifestyle factors can play a vital role in mitigating complications with ovulation, regulating menstrual cycles, and improving fertility outcomes.



Goals: - Provide a review of the menstrual cycle and fertility. - Identify common causes of infertility. - Discuss the role of nutrition and lifestyle in improving fertility outcomes.



COST: $20 MAND members, $30 non-members, $10 students.

MDEF Scholarships

For 2025, MDEF will be giving out two MDEF scholarships and one MDEF Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) scholarship to deserving nutrition students, each in the amount of $1500. Please pass along to any nutrition students or interns who may be eligible to apply!
