Fabulous Registered Dietitian (RD) wanted for busy, fun and inspiring private nutrition practice in Wilbraham Massachusetts working alongside other Dietitians, Nurse Practitioners and other health providers. You will be providing medical nutrition therapy for clients of all ages with nutritional needs. Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the CDR and be licensed in the state of Massachusetts. Flexible work schedule with morning and afternoon requirements. No holidays. No Weekends. Salary commiserate with experience. Contracted with health insurance companies preferred but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties :
Conduct nutrition assessment and obtain nutrition history from a variety of patients.
Counsel patients in both one-on-one settings as well as in groups.
Formulate menus for therapeutic diets based on the medical and physical condition of patients.
Schedule follow-up for patients visits using company's HIPAA compliant scheduling system.
Review patient's chart for accuracy and completeness
Obtain MD referrals as needed
Calculate and document BMI values for all patients.
Effectively document patient visits.
Qualifications and Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
RD must purchase liability insurance through the Academy prior to seeing first patient.
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
An RD with experience in general weight loss, GI disorders, pre-diabetes, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and general pediatrics is required.
This job requires two 4-6 hour days at our office in Wilbraham, MA and some remote appointments.
We are looking for a projected start date of early December.
Education/Experience :
Licensed or certified as a dietitian or nutritional professional in state of MA.
Additional state licensures would be helpful as well but not required.
CDE (Certified Diabetic Educator) desired, but not required.
Must have at least 1-2 years experience working as a clinical registered dietitian.
