Your Presenter Natalie Ledesma, MS, RDN, CSO, CLT Natalie Ledesma is a well-seasoned practitioner with nearly 25 years of experience as a registered dietitian nutritionist.



About the Program What is the link between nutrition, a plant-based diet and cancer? What are phytochemicals? Using evidence-based medicine, provide your patients practical strategies in nutrition support, improve their health, and empower them with the knowledge of nutrition.



CPEU LEVEL: 1, 2 | CPEU HOURS APPROVED: 1.0 This course has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) for 1.0 CPEU hours for Registered Dietitians



A board-certified specialist in oncology nutrition, Natalie is the founding dietitian for the nutrition program at the University of California, San Francisco Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and is the clinical nutrition specialist at Smith Integrative Oncology in San Francisco. She has direct contact with patients daily through her integrative & functional nutrition private practice.



Natalie is highly regarded in her industry and is often sought out for her expert opinion. She presents regularly to health care practitioners on Nutritional Counseling in Oncology Care. She is co-editor and author of the publication Oncology Nutrition for Clinical Practice. Natalie also has numerous interviews, articles and book chapters to her credit including The New York Times, NBC, Fortune magazine, Cure magazine, MAMM magazine, Runner’s World, and others.
