Fighting Cancer with Your Fork: Survivorship: Prevention and Current Trends in Oncology Nutrition -Speaker will address all recent soy and sugar concerns, trends, and myths.

Objectives: 1. Identify evidence-based recommendations for survivorship and cancer prevention



2. Discern myth vs evidence-based eating during cancer treatment and survivorship – soy, sugar, dairy, alkaline



3. Learn application of the plant-based diet for cancer prevention and chronic disease prevention



Julie Bosworth,RDN, LDN Julie has been Senior Clinical Dietitian at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for past the thirteen years, and has a private practice in Hanover, MA, called Julie Bosworth Nutrition Concepts. Her clinical expertise includes oncology, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, renal disease, liver disease, health and survivorship, cardiology, and transplantation. She has worked at a variety of medical institutions including Dana-Farber / Brigham and Women's, Mass General, the Faulkner Hospital, University of Maryland Medical Center, and Nestle. She teaches nutrition to patients, families, dietitians and other medical professionals, through lectures, videos, and one-on-one interactions.
