WAMDA Presents: Dietitians and Nurses: A Recipe for Success. An Interprofessional Education Session

Details:
Location: Chestnut 3, Baystate Medical Center Springfield, MA. Event starts at 5:30pm, dinner will be provided. RDs will receive 2 CEUs for attending, Nurses will receive 1.5 CE for attending. During this hands-on event, participants will:
1. Verbalize Nurses’ and Dietitians’ respective and shared roles and responsibilities in patient care.
2. Engage in a simulated learning activity with feeding tubes with healthcare team members.
3. Understand the value of working with interprofessional teams and carry this knowledge, skill, and value into their practice. Cost Prior to Event: WAMDA Members $20, Non-Members $25, Students/Interns $10
